Here are some answers to frequently
asked questions as well as suggestions
as you begin your practice of yoga:
- We provide sticky mats, props,
and eyebags for your practice.
- Yoga is practiced in bare
feet.
- Wear comfortable clothes
that allow freedom of movement.
- Bring a sweater or sweatshirt.
- Avoid using strong soaps
or fragrances before class.
- Bring a water bottle. (It
is best to hydrate before and after class).
- Eat lightly a couple of
hours before class for your comfort during practice.
- Avoid caffeine.
- Arrive a few minutes early
to set up your space and stretch a little.
- If you arrive after class
starts, enter quietly. Wait to open your sticky
mat until after the centering.
- Make gentle progress
