I've attended classes at Cohasset
Yoga Center since 1999. I can truly say that studying
with Mary Norton (as well as many other qualified
and talented teachers there) has altered my life
and consciousness in an extremely positive way.
In addition to yoga, I have also been introduced
to meditation and other forms of spiritual practice.
Workshops and presentations are held regularly
that are informative and transformational. Check

is a terrific yoga studio... I have been traveling
here for 20 years and it's worth the drive! Fabulous
teachers and wonderful energy in the space...Cindy's
Ashtanga class on Saturday 9:30 am is the best
thing I do for myself each week...It is a challenging
workout for me and I have seen myself grow more
flexible and stronger and that's exciting!

I have
been studying yoga with Mary Norton for over 15
years. I can't envision studying with anyone else!
I believe in her approach/philosophy of knowing
your own body and do only what you can. Cohasset
Yoga Center offers many types of yoga. and I have
tried many of them. I still keep coming back to
the basics of hatha yoga, exploring the many postures
and perfecting them to the best of my ability.
This practice has helped me in so many ways that
I can't envision my life without it. I don't feel
stiff when I get out of bed in the morning. That's
probably the biggest thing. I can also sit longer
at the computer and not ache when I get up. I
have stopped for several reasons but always find
my way back. I realize it's a life long practice.

I
LOVE the Pilates Fusion class! After doing a more
traditional Pilates class for many years, I welcome
the variety with open arms! The inclusion of weights
and the balance barre has been a great addition
to the awesome core workout. The music is fun
and Cindia has awesome energy and is incredibly
motivating. I go two times a week and only miss
a class if I really have to!

graduating from college a few years ago, and moving
back to the South Shore I have regained my love
for fitness through taking classes at The Cohasset
Yoga Center. I began attending Cindia Norton's
Zumba and Pilates Fusion classes and have seen
life-changing results. Not only have I lost over
30 lbs., but I have gained energy, confidence,
and reduced my stress level considerably. Cindia's
teaching style is positive and supportive, helping
each of us reach our full potential. She stays
current in the latest Zumba and Pilates techniques,
always spicing up the classes with new moves!
Cindia's classes are well worth the drive and
complete my week!

I consider
Elizabeth's Tuesday evening class a gift to myself
each week. Typically I arrive carrying all the
various stressors from my busy life in my lower
back and I leave to go home after our hour and
a half relaxed, peaceful and pain free. When I
have to miss a week I know it both emotionally
and physically.
