Kripalu Yoga
Kripalu
Yoga emphasizes breath and alignment as well as
the inner, spiritual dimensions of yoga practice.
Students are encouraged to honor the wisdom
of the body and to work according to its' strengths
and limits.
Beginners
are welcome in this class.
Mindful Yoga and Meditation
This class is for experienced students. Students
will explore the subtleties of alignment, breath
and sensory awareness in movement followed by
rest and a period of seated meditation.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga focuses on releasing the connective tissue
in the body creating suppleness at the core and
developing a deeper, inner awareness. This class
is appropriate for prenatal students.
Beginner
Ashtanga
This
class will begin with yin poses and then
focus on sun salutations, including proper breath
and alignment. Standing poses and some seated
poses will follow. Class will conclude with the
finishing sequence and rest.
Ashtanga
- Half Primary Series
This
class includes sun salutations, standing poses,
half of the seated poses, finishing sequence and
rest.
Ashtanga
- Full Primary Series
This
series includes all postures of the Primary Series
as taught by Pattabhi Jois.
Vinyasa
Flow
Vinyasa
Flow is a dynamic form of yoga including sun salutations
and standing poses that link movement with breath
in a continuous flow. Special attention and modifications
will be offered to each student.
Pilates
Fusion
A series of exercises will be used in this class
to develop core abdominal muscles and strengthen
the back. The class will include the use of props
such as: the barre, stability balls, resistance
rings and weights.
Vipassana Meditation
We will
practice mindful awareness in alternate periods
of walking and sitting meditation in the Vipassana
tradition.
Restorative
Yoga
A sequence
of poses will be used to promote deep relaxation
with the use of props.

Private
classes are available at $75 an hour. Small group
and specialty classes can be arranged.
