Gentle Yoga - Instructional
I
In this
class, we will explore postures, alignment, breathing,
meditation and relaxation techniques.
Beginners
are welcome.
Instructional I/II
These classes are for continuing students wishing
to deepen their practice. We will explore inversions,
rotating poses, twists and more.
Mindful Yoga
This class is for experienced students. We will
explore the subtleties of alignment, breath and
sensory awareness in movement in preparation for
meditation.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga focuses on releasing the connective tissue
in the body creating suppleness at the core and
developing a deeper inner awareness. This class
is appropriate for prenatal students.
Beginner
Ashtanga
This
class will focus on sun salutaions, standing poses
and the closing sequence of the primary Series.
Ashtanga
This
class is for students familiar with the Ashtanga
practice. The primary series will be practiced.
Pilates Mat Work
A series of exercises will be used in this class
to develop core abdominal muscles and strengthen
the back.
Pilates
Plus
Pilates
mat work will include the use of props such as:
stability
balls, resisitance rings, thera-bands and more.
Core
and Stretch
This class will focus on core strengthening
pilates exercises as well as the beneficial stretching
of yoga poses.
Zumba
Zumba
fuses latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to
create a dynamic workout. The routines feature
fast and slow rhythms to tone and sculpt your
body while combining fitness and fun.
Vipassana
Meditation
We will
practice mindful awareness in alternate periods
of walking and sitting meditation in the Vipassana
tradition.
Restorative
Yoga
A sequence
of poses will be used to promote deep relaxation
using props.
Open
Studio/Silent Practice
The
studio will be open for personal yoga practice
and/or
meditation. There will be no instruction

Private
classes are available at $75 an hour. Small group
and specialty classes can be arranged.
