What is Hatha Yoga?
Hatha Yoga is an ancient art
and science. Yoga strengthens and tones the muscles
and ligaments, keeps the spine and joints flexible,
and stimulates the glands and organs.
Hatha Yoga is a noncompetitive,
inner-focused practice.
Each class consists of warm-ups, meditation techniques,
asanas (or postures), pranayama (or breathing
exercises), and relaxation. A consistent, mindful
practice of yoga deepens the body/mind connection
and brings a sense of stillness and calm to all
the systems in the body.
