Zumba

Zumba
fuses latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to
create a dynamic workout. The routines feature
fast and slow rhythms to tone and sculpt your
body while combining fitness and fun.
Mixed
Level - Wednesday, 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Ashtanga
Yoga - The ashtanga practice is based
on the teachings of Sri K. Patabhi Jois of Mysore,
India. The class begins with sun salutaions followed
by a flowing series of poses linked by vinyasas
and sustained by Ujjayi breathing. The synchronized
movement of body and breath in a sustained flow
can produce a detoxifying sweat, which purifies
the inner space. This practice is demanding but
when practiced over time builds strength, flexibility
and endurance.
Beginner
Ashtanga - Wednesday,
9:30 to 11:00 a.m.
This
class will focus on sun salutaions, standing poses
and the closing sequence of the primary Series.
Ashtanga
- Saturday, 10:00 to 11:45 a.m.
This
class is for students familiar with the Ashtanga
practice. The primary series will be practiced.
Yin
Yoga - Monday, 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. and
9:30
to 11:00 a.m.
Yin Yoga focuses on releasing the connective tissue
in the body creating suppleness at the core and
developing a deeper inner awareness. This class
is appropriate for
prenatal students.
Pilates
Plus - Wednesday, 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
Pliates
mat work will include the use of props such as:
stability
balls, resistance rings, thera-bands and more.
