Peaceful Weight loss Through Yoga

Each class will be a combination of theory and practice with

detailed teachings into the following:

  • Yin Yoga Postures & Theory
  • The Chinese Meridian System: how it relates to the organs and overall health
  • Visit concepts of tension and compression in terms of connective tissue
  • How to incorporate meditation into the practice

This workshop is suitable for dedicated practitioners and teachers.

Christine O'Shaughnessy has been a yoga practitioner for over six years. She began teaching Yin Yoga in January 2004 after completing an intensive training in California with Sarah Powers and Paul Grilley. Christine is also certified by Daniel Orlansky in Meridian Yoga that activates and balances energy in the 14 major meridians (energy pathways) of the body. She is a Pan Gu Shengong instructor and does private teachings upon request. Christine lives in Scituate with her husband and children.
